Rajasthan Tour - Adventures

Rajputs have been keen equestrian and they take to the horses like a fish to water. Their taking to polo in big way was only natural. Their association with polo dates back to the Mughal period and miniature paintings at the Mehrangarh Fort bear testimony to this early introduction to the game. However, Polo did not become a passion until the British period when it became a natural and a marvelous peacetime pursuit.

The most popular adventures in Rajasthan are the safaris. There are countless places of great natural beauty in Eastern and Southern parts of Rajasthan. The hilly terrain in these regions is covered with dense forests dotted with forbidden forts and castles. The jungles are also a home to many tribes. Trekking and nature trails in these areas serve the dual purpose of enjoying nature's gifts, while getting a glimpse of history. The Western and Shekhawati regions of Rajasthan are extremely popular ways to appreciate the unique heritage and landscape of Rajasthan mixed with great fun.
Tourists coming down to Rajasthan, as such, do not just have the royal forts and palaces to see but also royal games to enjoy. Other games too have an endearing charm and enthusiasm that leaves the tourists asking for more.
